This CD-ROM is the premiere edition of Blender Magazine. To start the magazine, click twice on the icon called "CLICKMEx2" on the CD. Easy.
It requires a minimum of 4MB free RAM, Quicktime¬, a CD-ROM drive and a 13" RGB monitor to run on a Mac. For best results: Set the monitor to 256 colors and sound to max (unless you have external speakers) before booting. Blender will behave strangely on "Thousands" or "Millions" of colors. If you are experiencing dropped graphics, sounds or transitions, we suggest shutting off extensions to maximize available RAM. Some systems operate best with Quicktime¬ 2.0 and others with Quicktime¬ 1.6.2. Check videos using both versions to see which works better with your system.
All files on this CD have been checked for viruses.
If you want to stop the performance, click on the "QUIT" button on the contents screens, or press APPLE-PERIOD and hold both keys down until the quit dialog-box appears. Force quitting the application with CONTROL-OPTION-APPLE-ESC will also work in an emergency.
This disk has been tested on Macintosh computers ranging from a IIvx with 5 megs of RAM to a PowerPC 8100/80 with 128MB. Performance varies, but it runs.
Two known conflicts are RamDoubler and the "Eyeballs" init, both of which will act in conjunction with this disk to crash your machine. If you experience problems, try shutting off all extensions except your CD-driver and Quicktime¬ before calling technical support.
